    Responsible for preparing projections and conducting forecasting and must understand governmental accounting systems and the flow of transactions between systems in order to extract and manipulate data for required reports.  Incumbents may serve as a lead for lower levels and may provide training.

    Experience:  Four years’ journey level experience related to the area of assignment.
    Education:  Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Strong preference for experience with state/federal grant management and reimbursement preparation.

    • Supervisory skills and experience (This position supervises 5 accounting staff)

    • Experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable

    • Experience with cash handling, recording cash receipts, and back reconciliation

    • Experience preparing budgets and forecasting

    • Experience with financial reporting

    • Financial systems experience especially AMS Advantage, BOA CashPro, CareWare, WIRM, NCTRACKS, and OnBase systems are a plus

    • Intermediate to advanced level MS Excel skills

    •  The hours are 8am -5pm M-F.
