Iredell County is accepting applications for the Assistant Finance Director.  This employee performs specialized accounting and data processing tasks and will assist the Director with the administration and maintenance of the County’s financial, accounting, budgeting, revenue collection and auditing functions. They will ensure compliance with federal, state, local regulations and ordinances and North Carolina General Statutes. In addition, the employee will act as a resource for other County employees, the County Manager and County Commissioners in the appropriate implementation and maintenance of fiscal and budgetary matters. The incumbent will assume the supervision and direction of the Finance Department in the absence of the Finance Director. They must have keen analytical and organizational skills to work effectively.
