Free webinar on loans and grants for water/wastewater

  • Senior Project Director
Environmental Finance Center at UNC School of Government

We will be hosting a free webinar for funding program administrators to present information and answer questions on state and federal subsidized loans and grants that are available for water and wastewater infrastructure projects in North Carolina. Presentations will be made by USDA, the Division of Water Infrastructure (State Revolving Funds, CDBG, and state-administered grants), and the Economic Development Administration.

The webinar is free for anyone to attend: water and wastewater utilities – small water systems are especially encouraged to attend – consultants, technical assistance providers, or anyone who is helping water and wastewater systems in North Carolina apply for subsidized loans and grants.

The webinar is on March 24, 2021, 2:00pm – 3:30pm. Space is limited. More information and to register to receive the Zoom link, please go to

Please join us to learn about some of the subsidized funds that are available to utilities, and to ask the program administrators questions about potential projects you have in mind to find out if there are grants or low interest loans that you might qualify for. Construction costs are still rising, lately at around 2%/year nationally, and infrastructure needs are still high.

Additional resource: find out how much low-interest loans and grants can save your utility and customers.

We are grateful to the speakers from the funding programs for volunteering their time to present!

    Thank you,
